The Air Jordan 14 Retro Low "Black Animal Pack / Ostrich" is the opening entry in Jordan Brand's Holiday 2026 four-shoe "Black Animal Pack / Ostrich" collection and the one that carries the most immediately recognizable silhouette DNA — the Ferrari 550 Maranello-inspired design Tinker Hatfield created in 1998 now given its most premium all-black material treatment in a low-cut format that removes the high collar and exposes the shoe's aerodynamic profile at its cleanest angle. A gator-textured leather covers the primary upper surface in a deeply embossed, tile-pattern scale that provides tactile luxury depth within an entirely blacked-out palette — the surface catching and releasing light across the pattern's edges in a way that keeps the shoe from reading flat despite the absence of any contrasting color. A snakeskin-textured leather appears on the mudguard and overlay panels with a finer, more tightly scaled pattern, creating a deliberate exotic material variation that distinguishes upper zones from each other within the same black register. The Ferrari shield heel badge is rendered in the same blacked-out finish, tonal against the surrounding upper.
