The Nike Air heel branding returns for the first time on any "White Infrared" retro since 1991 — the single most significant restoration in the shoe's entire retro history, and the detail that tells collectors immediately this is a different-tier release than what came before. The 1991 toe box shape and tongue height have been restored to match the original mold — correcting the proportional drift that accumulated across multiple retro cycles and was most visible in the 2014 release. The interior bootie construction has been reworked to mirror the original 1991 build. The colorway itself is unchanged and unchanged for a reason: a pure white leather upper running from toe to collar in the clean, premium surface that the AJ6 silhouette demands, with bold Infrared accents landing on the midsole stripe, lace lock, heel tab, and tongue Jumpman logo — the exact placement that defined the "White Infrared" identity in 1991 and has never needed revision. Black accents on the heel pull tab lining and interior provide the structural contrast that grounds the white-and-red story.
