The Air Jordan 3 Retro "Valentine's Day / Treat Yourself" is Jordan Brand's February 2025 Air Jordan 3 - a Valentine's Day release for the AJ3 that uses Washed Coral leather as its primary surface material and applies the most jewelry-accessory-forward packaging detail of any Air Jordan 3 in recent memory. The "Treat Yourself" nickname acknowledges the colorway's intended purchasing context directly rather than framing it as a gift - a shoe designed as much for self-purchase as for romantic gifting, the name removing any obligatory framing from the holiday concept. A Washed Coral leather upper covers the primary surface of the AJ3 in a warm, slightly desaturated pink-orange that reads as coral rather than the brighter pink of standard Valentine's Day colorways - the washed finish giving the leather a softer, more textural surface quality that differentiates it from a standard coral dye application. Shimmering pink elephant print covers the toe overlay and heel overlay - the AJ3's signature textured pattern rendered in a lustrous pink finish that catches light differently from the matte washed coral base, providing visual depth without introducing a contrasting color zone. Satin eyelet panels replace the standard leather eyelets with a softer, slightly sheen surface at the lacing zone - the most specific material substitution on the shoe and the detail that most directly references luxury textile rather than athletic construction. Gym Red accents land on the Jumpman tongue and heel logos and the lower eyelets. A Sail midsole with visible Air-Sole heel unit sits beneath, and a semi-translucent pink gum outsole closes the build.
