When Jordan Brand released the "Sunset" in 2006, it was the first time the AJ5 had ever been given a women's-exclusive colorway, a decision that arrived at a moment when women's-exclusive Jordans were far rarer than they are now — making this shoe a documented milestone in the model's catalog beyond its colorway alone. The 2026 build stays entirely faithful to the 2006 original. A premium white leather upper covers the primary surface — clean, smooth, and crisp against the warm accents that surround it — with translucent mesh side panels running the quarter zones in the AJ5's standard breathable construction. The 3M reflective tongue carries a Sunset orange Jumpman logo, the warm accent that names the colorway landing first and most visibly above the collar. An orange lace lock on the lace cage provides a secondary warm hit at the midfoot.
