The Nike Air Foamposite One "Halloween / Mummy" is a Holiday 2026 Foamposite One that operates in two completely different visual registers depending on whether the lights are on — one of the more precisely executed uses of glow-in-the-dark material in the Foamposite catalog since the 2012 "Galaxy" outsole established what the format could do. Also referenced as "Phantom / Barely Volt" and "Safari" across different sources, the colorway draws its design language from two references simultaneously: the safari animal-print pattern that appeared on the original 2013 Foamposite One "Safari" in black and white, now translated into a pale, muted palette, and the intentionally aged, wrapping-like texture of mummy bandages — the surface detail that gives this Halloween colorway its most specific seasonal identity without resorting to standard horror-palette color blocking. A Phantom shell — the soft, muted off-white that sits between standard white and cream — covers the full primary Foamposite upper in the seamless molded polyurethane construction Eric Avar developed in 1997. A tonal safari-like textured pattern is pressed across the shell surface in the same Phantom base, reading as subtle surface texture in daylight and referencing the wrapped, weathered appearance of mummy bandages through its linear, overlapping pattern. Under low light or UV exposure, the safari-print specks and outsole illuminate in Barely Volt — the electric neon green activating across the shell's textured surface and the translucent outsole simultaneously, the glow-in-the-dark effect transforming the muted daytime shoe into a glowing Halloween artifact after dark. Light suede wraps the eyestay panels, Barely Volt hits appear on the mini Swoosh, pull tabs, and Penny's 1 Cent logo at the heel, and a full-length Zoom Air unit with stacked secondary heel Zoom and carbon fiber midfoot shank complete the performance foundation.
