The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG x V.A.A. / Virgil Abloh Archive "Alaska / Off-White Euro" is the first global product drawn from the Virgil Abloh Archive - the collection of over 20,000 objects assembled from Abloh's creative career and now stewarded by Shannon Abloh in honor of her late husband's legacy. The shoe being retroed is the 2018 "Euro" - one of the most sought-after pairs in the entire Off-White x Air Jordan 1 catalog because it was the only entry in "The Ten" series not released globally, making it a regional exclusive that most of the market never had access to at retail. The 2026 release makes it globally available for the first time, with one significant change: the medial panel branding that originally read "Off-White for Nike" has been updated to reflect V.A.A. - the Virgil Abloh Archive - rather than the Off-White brand, making this the first Jordan Brand release to carry the Archive's identity rather than Abloh's fashion label. Every other construction element of the original 2018 design is reproduced faithfully. The all-white leather upper is built with Abloh's signature inside-out deconstructed construction - semi-detached panels, a Swoosh attached to the upper via exposed blue stitching, and the shoe's inner lining materials intentionally visible as surface elements. An elongated exposed-foam tongue carries an off-center Nike Air tag in orange. "AIR" is stamped in bold block lettering across the lateral midsole sidewall. Decorative blue and orange threading runs throughout, along with "85" text along the inner collar and the red zip tie at the lace cage. The packaging departs from the original flip-top box with a new slide-out box featuring circular Swiss cheese-style cutouts throughout the cardboard exterior and a fully transparent inner case stamped with V.A.A. and Jumpman logos, housing an iridescent insert and a booklet bearing the phrase "MODERNISM IS NOT NEW."
