The Air Jordan 3 “Seoul 2.0” revisits one of Jordan Brand’s most coveted regional releases while intentionally aging and altering the design rather than simply reproducing the 2018 pair. The original Seoul AJ3 celebrated the 1988 Summer Olympics in South Korea and the country’s national identity, releasing in extremely limited fashion through Seoul. White leather forms the foundation, with Sport Royal and Challenge Red representing colors from the Taegeukgi, South Korea’s national flag. Black elephant print remains at the toe and heel, while Korean-inspired embroidery and special tongue details preserve the regional storytelling that made the first edition so difficult to obtain. For 2025, Jordan Brand introduces vintage-minded changes: the midsole takes on a yellowed Sail appearance, elephant-print panels look more weathered, several eyelets shift from Black to White, and the translucent sections underfoot are replaced by more solid Grey rubber. Nike Air returns on the heel, maintaining the OG-style finish. Those deliberate differences justify the “2.0” designation - this isn’t positioned as a straight retro of a seven-year-old grail. The original became famous partly because access outside South Korea was extraordinarily limited; the updated edition gives the story another chapter while preserving the Blue, Red, White, and Black identity that made Seoul instantly recognizable.
