The Air Jordan 4 Retro "White Laser" is the first retro of its May 2005 original — the more graphically legible half of the 2027 Laser Pack, releasing February 1 alongside the "Black Laser" in a two-pair package after over twenty years away from retail. The "Laser" concept applied a laser-etching process directly to the premium leather upper, burning intricate Michael Jordan career-biography graphics into the leather surface across every panel — a heat-burned recessed technique that sits below the leather's surface plane, giving the design a permanence and line precision that printing or embossing cannot replicate. On the "White Laser," the white leather ground makes the graphic program its most immediately visible — the heat-burned etchings reading as dark scorched lines against the bright white base, the multi-panel career tribute legible at conversational distance in a way the black version cannot achieve in standard lighting. Elements drawn from Jordan's six championships, Dream Team gold, and Bulls-era milestones distribute across the toe, vamp, quarter panels, heel, and tongue. Black lands on the Swoosh overlays, eyelets, and tongue branding as the structural contrast anchors. Varsity Red appears on select branding zones and the inner lining — the one accent tone both Laser colorways share. Clear eyelets provide the "White Laser's" most specific hardware detail, differentiating it from the "Black Laser's" light green eyelets. An Air-Sole heel unit and standard AJ4 midsole complete the build, packaged in the MJ face box alongside its black counterpart.
