The Air Jordan 5 Retro x UNDFTD / Undefeated "Moon Fossil" is the lighter of the two colorways in Undefeated's debut Air Jordan 5 collaboration — the first UNDFTD x Jordan Brand project on the AJ5, following the historic 2005 AJ4 that was Jordan Brand's first-ever official boutique collaboration. Moon Fossil canvas covers the primary upper in the warm, slightly grey-tinted off-white the colorway name describes — a tone between cream and pale bone giving the construction its military-utilitarian reading. A tonal Fossil canvas provides the secondary neutral across remaining upper panels in the same color family, and the AJ5's mid-foot netting panel runs in canvas-adjacent material through the silhouette's most recognizable structural zone. Black provides structural grounding across the midsole, shark teeth, and hardware. University Red lands at select accent zones as the one saturated departure from the neutral palette. Undefeated's Five Strike tally logo is embroidered in olive green at the lateral heel, and "Nike UND" lettering in olive replaces the standard "Nike Air" text at the rear heel — the collaboration's most specific branding intervention. A 3M silver reflective tongue and black nylon tongue strap run the full tongue length, sashiko-style stitching outlines the collar edge, and a translucent lace lock provides the closure hardware. A split Jordan/Undefeated co-branded insole and icy translucent outsole close the build.
