The Air Jordan 6 Retro "White / Infrared" is the fourth retail release of the colorway Michael Jordan wore during away games in the 1990–91 championship season — the year the Chicago Bulls defeated the Los Angeles Lakers for their first NBA title, with MJ wearing this exact colorway on the road while the Black Infrared stayed home — and the first release in twelve years, with the 2014 retro drawing consistent criticism for shape deviations and the replacement of Nike Air heel branding with a Jumpman. The 2026 build corrects both. Following the same OG-spec blueprint Jordan Brand applied to the Reverse Infrared earlier in the year, the 1991 toe box shape and tongue height have been restored to match the original mold, and the interior bootie construction has been reworked to mirror the original 1991 build — corrections that make this the most faithful "White Infrared" retro since the original pair. The colorway itself has not changed and receives no revision. A premium white leather upper covers the primary surface with the clean, smooth finish the AJ6 silhouette demands, while Infrared accents land on the midsole stripe, lace lock, and heel spoiler pull tab — the exact placement that has defined this colorway for 35 years. Black details hit the tongue, interior, and midsole border with the structural contrast that grounds the white-and-red story, a perforated side panel carries the silhouette's aerodynamic design language intact, and Nike Air branding returns to the heel tab — confirmed for the 2026 build and restored for the first time on a "White / Infrared" retro since 1991.
