The Converse x Shai Gilgeous-Alexander SHAI 001 "Blush Pink" is the lifestyle colorway of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's first signature shoe - a fully pink monochrome execution on the silhouette SGA designed from the ground up with Converse and debuted at NBA All-Star Weekend in February 2025. The SHAI 001 is the first Converse signature basketball shoe in decades and the most unconventional signature silhouette in contemporary basketball footwear - a mid-cut molded design built around a full-length zipper closure that conceals the lacing system entirely, creating a seamless exterior with no visible lacing hardware. SGA designed the zipper as the shoe's most specific personal design statement, referencing his preference for a streamlined, clutter-free aesthetic that extends from how he plays to how he dresses. The "Blush Pink" colorway applies a single, tonal pink across the full molded synthetic and neoprene upper - a fully saturated execution where the zippered front panel, the collar, the sidewalls, and every surface zone run in the same pink without any contrasting accent color breaking the monochrome. The puffed construction of the upper gives the solid pink a three-dimensional quality under light, the neoprene material's sheen differentiating slightly from the synthetic leather zones even within the same color. SGA's personal logo appears on the padded tongue, and the Converse Star Chevron trademark appears at the heel tab in the same tonal pink. An EVA foam midsole with a Nike Zoom Air unit in the forefoot delivers the performance cushioning platform beneath the lifestyle colorway's exterior.
