The Nike Air Foamposite One PRM QS x Stranger Things "Vecna / A Last Trip into the Upside Down" is the most narrative-specific Nike x entertainment collaboration of 2026 - a shoe that arrives after Stranger Things concluded its fifth and final season and operates as a physical artifact of the Upside Down rather than a licensed graphic on a standard upper. Nike and Netflix committed to a design concept that translates Vecna's environment - the mind lair, the fog, the vine-covered throne room - into material and surface treatment decisions on the Foamposite One's molded shell, rather than simply printing Stranger Things imagery onto an unchanged construction. The Foamposite shell fades from deep Black into Bright Crimson across its surface, mimicking the dark storm energy and red mist atmospheric conditions of Vecna's domain within the Upside Down. Vine graphics extend across the molded shell and activate in glow-in-the-dark material under UV light and in darkness - the vine detail referencing the organic structures that connect Vecna's throne to his victims, now running the lateral and medial surface of a basketball shoe. Cracked synthetic leather surfaces across the upper replicate the decay and weathering associated with the Upside Down's environment, and distressed laces carry the worn-through aesthetic into the closure detail. The Penny Hardaway logo appears flipped at the heel - an "upside down" orientation that rewards collectors familiar with the original Foamposite identity. Custom Vecna-inspired insole artwork appears when the shoe is opened, and the packaging replicates Nike boxes from the 1980s in black - the era when Stranger Things is set. Heel and full-length Air Zoom cushioning provides the performance foundation beneath the narrative surface, and a glow-in-the-dark herringbone rubber outsole closes the build.
