The Nike Air Foamposite One x Victor Solomon "Westside Beaches / All-Star White" is the Foamposite's contribution to Nike's 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend Trophies Collection - a three-shoe artistic series developed with Los Angeles artist Victor Solomon, who designed official NBA trophies for the league's 75th anniversary and whose practice centers on sculpting basketball objects into fine art. The Trophies Collection assigns each silhouette a specific Los Angeles neighborhood or geographic identity, with the Foamposite representing the Westside Beaches - the coastal geography and sensory experience of water, sand, and shoreline that defines the city's western edge. Rather than applying a photographic print or a branded graphic to the Foamposite's molded shell, Solomon used the shell's sculptural surface as a drawing substrate, applying black-on-white linework across the armored side panels in a pattern that mimics the movement and flow of waves, grids, and organic coastal forms - a hand-drawn quality that reads as a map of the beach meeting the city rather than as sportswear decoration. A premium textured white leather lace panel provides the construction's primary luxury surface, and Metallic Gold chain laces with basketball charms at each end tie the shoe to both the trophy-making tradition of Solomon's practice and the All-Star celebration's golden register. A printed map of Los Angeles appears on the insoles as the collaboration's most specific geographic storytelling detail. The Foamposite One's standard molded polyurethane shell construction, Zoom Air cushioning, and herringbone rubber outsole underlie the collaboration's artistic surface. The release was limited to 1,000 pairs and distributed exclusively through Shoe Palace Malibu during All-Star Weekend.
