The Nike Air Foamposite Pro "Mummy Duck Black" is the retail-original colorway of the Oregon Ducks Mummy Duck concept — a version that never existed as a player exclusive, was never worn on a football field, and was designed from the ground up for the public release that the Phantom PE concept made possible. Where the Phantom brought a documented locker-room shoe to public retail for the first time, the Black exists purely as a consumer release — and the darker canvas makes it the more wearable and more immediately compelling of the two. A Black polyurethane Foamposite shell covers the full sculptural upper in the same armor-like molded surface Eric Avar introduced in 1997, giving the duck feather stripe pattern — raised directly into the shell material rather than printed on top — a tonal, shadow-depth character that shifts between barely visible and richly detailed depending on the light angle. The glow-in-the-dark feather detail activates in UV and low light, turning the tonal daytime texture into the shoe's full visual story after dark. The mummy bandage-wrap Swoosh outline frames both lateral and medial panels in the same textured overlay treatment that defines the Mummy Duck identity across both colorways. Barely Volt fills the Swoosh, lace hardware, and collar trim — a single neon accent that hits harder against near-black than it could against any lighter ground. A bright green glow-in-the-dark outsole completes the build.
