The Yeezy YZY YS-01 Slide "Blue" is the Blue colorway of Ye's independent YZY slide - the silhouette that directly succeeds the adidas Yeezy Slide in construction, design language, and cultural position, now produced and distributed by Ye's own YZY brand without any adidas involvement. The YS-01 carries the same one-piece EVA foam construction as the adidas-era Yeezy Slide that collectors paid triple retail to acquire - the same sculpted, thick-soled form, the same single open-toe strap, and the same monolithic surface geometry - but now sold directly through yeezy.com and select retail accounts in a broad multi-colorway lineup at a fraction of the previous silhouette's secondary market pricing. The "Blue" colorway applies a single saturated blue tone across the full EVA foam body - the strap, the footbed, and the thick sculpted midsole all running in the same Blue without any tonal variation, accent color, or logo placement on any exterior surface. The one-piece EVA foam construction provides the shoe's full structural and cushioning function simultaneously - the same material that forms the visible exterior also provides the underfoot comfort platform - giving the YS-01 a warm, slightly flexible character underfoot that the SL-01's harder synthetic construction does not share. A contoured footbed with grip texture zones holds the foot in position within the open-toe format, and the YS-01's characteristic thick foam outsole provides both the shoe's most visually distinctive profile element and its cushioning foundation.
